Rants from the Other Side is a forum for my observations  from the other side of 50. Now that I’ve reached this age,  I find I’m alternately delighted with and pissed off at my life. On the one hand, I’m enjoying the empty nest and the freedom that entails. On the other hand, I’m horrified not just at the ways my body is betraying me, but at situations I encounter that no one ever warned me about.  So, I’ve taken it upon myself to be the mouthpiece of my generation of women and to share my pithy observations about life on the other side. Let the ranting begin.
